Busy Weekend

Aubrey and I spent the better part of the last week remodeling our kitchen. I took Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off with hopes that those three full days, plus the two weekend days would give us ample time to finish the job. We repainted all of our woodwork in the kitchen, stripped and repainted all of our cabinets, and got an order in for new countertops. All of the work is nearing a close now, but we still have to wait 2-4 weeks to receive our new countertops. We did not finish the job as expected. Instead, I had to take two extra days off of work. Not a huge deal from a work perspective, but damn I was getting tired of working in that kitchen.

We did take time out to catch the Boban i Marko Markovic Orkestar show on Sunday afternoon, and it was probably my favorite musical performance I've ever seen. I'll write more about the show when I get some more time.
