Oh Man, What a Game!

Last night, I couldn't take my eyes off the television. Aubrey and I settled down on our couch shortly after 5 last night to watch what can only be described as one of the most epic moments in television sports history.

That's right, folks. We watched the Fourth Annual Puppy Bowl, live from Animal Planet Stadium!

Our favorite Puppy Player was Daisy, an AmStaff/AmBull mix that looks like a spitting image of our Lucy.

Aubrey and I are not football fans. We've started a tradition throughout our years together of avoiding the Super Bowl. Instead of sitting around watching football, we opt instead for dinner out and maybe a movie. Last night proved just too gross to go out and do much of anything, so we ordered carryout. Then, while we were sitting there, we remembered that Puppy Bowl IV was on. We watched part of Puppy Bowl III last year, but it just didn't carry the same excitement and humor as Puppy Bowl IV. Those pups just get more entertaining every year.

If you want highlights from last night's extravaganza, check out this link.

OMIGOD! I love the puppy bowl! We watch it every year! This year, my favorite was Action Jackson ... the little white Westie. I even went to the website to vote for him as MVP.

But you know what I hate? That stupid kitty half-time show! DAMN ... I hate it! LOL

Glad to see we're not alone. There's just something about watching a bunch of puppies frolic that seems relaxing and joyful to me. And Action Jackson was spunky. That little dog was all over the place. Good times.

As for the kitty half-time show, we tuned out. Can't stand it either. The kitties all just stand around swatting at toys. There's very little interaction. It's boring.
