Micah and I are going to explode back into the studio tonight with a show that we hope will be at least sub-par. We have an interesting show lined up, I think. At least I'm looking forward to doing this show.
We're going to do a history segment tonight, something we haven't done since we covered The Winter of the Deep, Deep, Deep, Deep, Deep, Deep Snow. Tonight's history should be entertaining, especially if you have an interest in American folklore, tall tales, and how those stories get spun out from nuggets of truth, etc.
We're also going to tape another "I am the King of . . ." segments, in which we try to build an object out of different types of food to see who can win. Tonight's food objects: marshmallows and toothpicks. Next time we're going to pick something a little more avant garde, like salisbury steak or canned tuna.
And we're going to answer viewer letters. We get literally tons of fan mail from our viewers, and we like to take the time to answer those letters from time to time.
This show should, if all goes well, air next Friday night (February 15).
